Only about 5 Km west of Lagos, Prai da luz is a pleasant village with a glorious sandy beach ideal for a variety of water sports such as windsurfing, snortling and scuba diving.

The cliff pathways above the breach afford excellent walks, e.g., to Porto de Mós, about 2 ½ Km to the east (you can even walk all the way to Lagos if you want.)
